Our Winter Vacation

January 7th - First night at the Cabin.
As were were waiting for everyone to get there, we took a few pictures.... as always it starts with one or two people and as the flast goes off, 6 more kids show up to join in. This was just a random shot with a bunch of the grandkids surrounding Grandma.

January 8th - Time for some snow!

I haven't seen this much snow in a LONG time - the kids were going crazy and couldn't wait to get out in it and by kids you know I mean half of the adults as well. This is B- Bug taking a break from climbing that HUGE hill

January 11th - I make my own rules

Ms. E loves her toys, especially the noisy ones. I love watching her because she has to find our own, new way to do things.... it reminds me of how I was as a child.

This is her, climbing INTO (not just ON) her ride along toy.

January 12th - I want to see...
Ms. E had her 15 month check up today and they asked if she was talking.... she jabbers constantly but not too many words. When we got home, I was trying to talk to her and get her to repeat what I was saying but she was much more interested in what was in my mouth then what was coming out of it..... such a curious little girl!

Happy New Year!

January 2nd - Weekend Away
Joe and I went to SLC and celebrated our 7th anniversary. Joe was incredibly sweet and booked the hotel room, found a babysitter, and planned 2 days for us. We had a great time just relaxing and spending time together and let me tell you how nice it was to sleep through the night!
I still can't believe it has been 7 years. We have been through a lot
together and I am so glad to have him by my side.... I am one lucky girl.

January 3rd - Our Anniversary!!!
We went to the Gateway (outside mall in SLC) and walked around a bit the next night.... it was freezing and we got there just as everything was closing but it was still nice to just be with each other.
They still had their amazing Christmas tree up so we had to snag a picture and then Joe want to get one of me - and you know me... fine, whatever :)

January 4th - time to pick up the kids...

I was so anxious to pick up my kids, we have never left Ms. E overnight and B-Bug only a few times. We showed up and of course, the kids wanted to stay.Ms. E was loving this book - it seems to be her new thing... she will pick up a book and just jabber about the pages, like she is reading it to us all. Gotta love it.

January 6th - Who needs toys.

Ms. E has found that boxes are so much fun - nothing like opening one up and tearing out whatever is inside. This one is her current fav.... it has all our snow hats, scarfs, and gloves in it. I put on her hat and gloves and she just thought it was so funny.
